Droid Bike Calculator visualizes the interaction of gear, rpm and speed. You may set any user defined chainwheel and sprocket combinations. They will be displayed graphically and by values. In a further tab view you can determine Body-Mass-Index, slope, power values and energy consumption on a trip. In the Graph-Tab and the Values-Tab you may change the bitmap size by zooming. The actually visible bitmap may be saved as a jpeg file. In the Power-Tab you can wipe through the pages. Since version 1.4 it is possible to store settings within a profile management. You may be able to directly compare a "profile" and a "compared profile". Profiles can be exported or imported to/from filesystem. With Version 2.0 GPS and pressure sensor functionality is added. This app can act now as a cyclometer or an altimeter ( barometric altimeter ). It is possible to record this data and analyze it later in a TourAnalysis View. Actually speed and altitude values are visualized in this view. Furthermore many views may be customized by using different colors.The main feature in version 3.0 (among many other improvements ) is the ability to display routes in a map (offline !)Bug fix for Jelly Bean to deal with bluetooth le devices

Fantastic technicals, features, record keeping and all kinds of other goodies. A "could be great app" marred by an incomprehensible UI, sluggish controls and app crashes.
Nice but graph-tab don't show sprocket size; hard to use on my nexus 5.
Description and application screens on Google Play show the software off well. I was looking for something to provide quick visual representation of gearing choices and this is just what I needed. Developer communication and updates are excellent. Tested on Nexus 7 running 4.2.1 and HTC One S running 4.1.1 and both work.
